The VenCoM System
VenCoM (Venous Congestion Meter) is a non-invasive device for office and home measurement of Central Venous Pressure (CVP).
The system is based on two electronically controlled pneumatic cuffs placed around the arm, similar to those used by standard electronic blood pressure monitors.
The CVP measurement process is driven by air plethysmography algorithms and the assessed value is provided in a few tens of seconds.
Prototypes already developed for clinical validation.
Clinical validation, (70-100 pts), to evaluate concordance between noninvasive VenCoM measurement and invasively assessed CVP/RAP. Currently finalizing the product and regulatory process for marketing.
