2. Personal data processed

Browsing data

The computer systems that run the Website acquire, during their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet protocols, such as IP addresses, the type of browser, the date and time of the request and the requested resource. These data are used only to guarantee the correct operation and the security of the Website and are kept in the server logs for the time strictly necessary for these purposes.

Data provided voluntarily by the user

When you fill in the contact form or write to the e-mail addresses shown on the Website, we receive your name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional) and any other personal data included in your message. The contact form sends these data by e-mail to the Data Controller: they are not stored in databases on the Website.

Please do not include health data or other special categories of personal data in your messages.

Cookies

The Website uses technical cookies and, only with your consent, analytics cookies. Details are given in the Cookie Policy.

3. Purposes and legal bases of the processing

  • Answering your requests sent through the contact form or by e-mail: the legal basis is the execution of pre-contractual measures taken at your request and the legitimate interest of the Data Controller in answering the messages it receives (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
  • Operation and security of the Website, including the prevention of abuse and spam: legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Statistical analysis of the use of the Website through Google Analytics: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Providing the data requested in the contact form is optional, but without them we cannot answer your request. Your data are not used for marketing purposes and are not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

4. Methods of processing and recipients

Data are processed with electronic tools and with organisational and security measures appropriate to protect them. They may be processed by the staff of the Data Controller authorised to do so and by the companies that provide hosting, maintenance of the Website and e-mail services, acting as data processors. Data are not disclosed to the public.

If you accept analytics cookies, browsing data are collected by Google Ireland Limited through Google Analytics. Google may transfer data to the United States: such transfers are based on the European Commission adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on the Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by Google.

5. Data retention

Data sent through the contact form or by e-mail are kept for the time needed to handle your request and the related correspondence and, in any case, for no longer than 24 months, unless a contractual relationship follows or a longer period is required by law. Analytics data are kept according to the Google Analytics retention settings, for no longer than 14 months.

6. Your rights

You can exercise at any time the rights provided by Articles 15–22 GDPR: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal. To exercise your rights, write to info@treessebiomedica.it.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) or with the supervisory authority of the EU Member State where you live or work.
